Conceived by Lisa Radakovich Holsberg, this program features the unity of powerful poetry by Guillaume Apollinaire, Évariste de Parny, John McCrae, Anna Akhmatova, Bertolt Brecht with music by some of the 20th centuries greatest composers: Francis Poulenc, Maurice Ravel, Charles Ives, John Tavener, Kurt Weill, and Stephen Sondheim.
